About Us
Championship Bloodlines
Our chihuahuas are carefully bred from championship bloodlines to be beautiful, sturdy, capable little dogs their whole life. They are Canadian Kennel Club registered, are AKC registerable, and have physical conformation worthy of the show ring. Our puppies all meet breed standard (short nose, apple head, shorter leg to length ratio, muscular body, round eyes but not disproportionate to their head, great gait, tail set and coat). We have long and short coat dogs in both single and double coat varieties. We also have a nice cross section of colours, Temperament is another important quality so our puppies are pack and people socialized to ensure they are well adjusted, intelligent and fun! We love our dogs! Puppies are vet checked have first shots, are dewormed, and come with both a one year health guarantee and 6 weeks of health insurance. Our girls only have one litter per year so we typically have 4-6 litters per annum.
Experienced Breeders
We had been involved in toy dogs for quite some time when the Chihuahua breed completely stole our hearts. Since then, we have dedicated ourselves to improving our lines and producing top quality dogs that are also wonderful, well adjusted companions. We believe each fur baby deserves to be a strong, long lived little buddy with a family or show home that suits their potential. We are always striving to learn and improve so that our dogs get the best lives possible.We are also open to exploring relationships with other breeders who have the same philosophies.
A Furever Friend
When looking to include a Chihuahua in your life, it is important to consider many things. First, Chihuahuas are one of the longest living breeds with typical life spans ranging from 14-18 years, though people we know have informed of us their dogs lived past 22. This is a commitment. Assessing your current situation and lifestyle will show whether this is one you are ready for. Be aware, you are adopting a family member when you bring a Chihuahua home.
Commitment decided, next consideration is children and other pets.If they are accustomed to small dogs then the transition is much easier as things like how gentle to touch and house rules are established and fear based aggression is virtually eliminated. Very small children and certain types of pets may not be a good fit for a Chihuahua without significant supervision, thoughtful introductions and training.
